Our floxed treatment page is password protected because I didn’t want you to simply jump on all these supplements without any other guidance. There are specific labs that should be done and often secondary effects from being floxed or other aspects of people’s health that need consideration. For example, I’m finding low testosterone, adrenal fatigue, autoimmune diseases, toxic exposures, etc, are often present and need to be addressed as well in order to recover your health. If initial treatments are not helping then there are additional things to consider such as heavy metal, genetic testing, etc.

A multivitamin is a good idea to ensure plenty of trace elements and cofactors. If you are up for a gold standard, the Ultra-Preventive X is hard to beat. A stripped-down version that still has superior mineral forms and quality is the Ultra-Preventive 2 Daily.
If budget allows push to the 3x/day on the supplements noted as 1-3x/day. You can start with adding in one new supplement/day in no particular order to be sure tolerating ok. Linked products are brands that we use in our office. These may be ordered directly from some companies or from online sources and you may also order through Dr Rollin’s account with Douglas Labs.
IV Therapies
I usually start with IV NAD daily then transition to 2x/week ozone. NAD is quicker to provide energy, but more costly and time consuming (our charge is $350 and takes about 2-3 hours/vial), while ozone takes more time to generate NAD but is less costly and quicker ($150 and 45 minutes). With ozone, we expect to need 10-15 IVs before really seeing improvement. We are starting to use “10 pass” ozone IV in place of or early with NAD. Ozone can help remove FQ-mineral complexes.
With either NAD or ozone, we finish with glutathione every time and usually 1gm of magnesium. Phosphatidylcholine for cell membrane support and ALA for neuron support is often used. Care is taken with glutathione as it can cause a relapse. If we identify some adrenal fatigue we intersperse “Myers” 2x/week (for adrenal support). Often we have patients get a PICC line to facilitate all the IVs, but there’s always the risk/benefit of clot or infection to weigh.
Avoiding Fluorides and Bromides, etc
Quinolones contain fluoride which is toxic. Avoid other medications that contain fluoride and sources of fluoride including toothpastes or your drinking water. Also avoid NSAIDS such as Ibuprofen/Naproxen, etc, and steroids.
Turning on genetic and mitochondrial repair
Fasting turns on genetic and metabolic switches that lead to clean up and disposal of aging cell and cellular components, while turning on production of new cells and cellular components. A 5 day water fast is sufficient but not recommended without close oversight. Instead, I recommend the Prolon Fasting Mimicking Diet, by well known anti-aging researcher Dr Valter Longo. This could be done as often as once/month.
Exercise will also stimulate mitochondrial regeneration, with high intensity interval training perhaps being the most effective. Floxed patients need to take care to only exercise within their health limits though.
Getting full body infrared sunlight for 5-10 minutes daily on each side helps produce mitochondrial melatonin. The best time to get infrared light exposure is during sunrise and sunset when there is unopposed infrared and red light without damaging ultraviolet (UV) light. Using full body red light therapy beds is a great treatment.
